About Me
​
Hello! My name is Monika Andrea Minaroy. I am trained as a psychologist (Leiden University, NL) and after years of living and working abroad, I created MoMiCo to offer reflective, one-to-one support for people navigating life away from home.
My mission is to use my unique blend of clinical expertise and lived experience to help you find a clearer sense of mind and a new way of being; one that feels true to yourself and aligned with your values.
What is coaching?
​Coaching is a structured, purposeful conversation in a safe, supportive space where you can be honest with yourself, think things through, and explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.
​You’ll have time to pause and reflect, and at moments you may be gently challenged to help you see your situation from different point of views. That shift often brings clarity, new options, and the confidence to make choices that feel right for you.

During our conversations, I will not give advise or tell you what to do, and I don’t offer ready-made answers. Instead, I create environment where you can slow down your thinking and hear yourself more clearly.
My role is to support your thinking, ask the right questions, and hold the space so your own insights can emerge. The learning you get from our conversations is often the most sustainable and meaningful.
Over time, this process helps you move forward with more self-trust and a clearer sense of direction, toward a future that feels aligned with who you are and what matters to you.

What is transformative coaching?
​Transformative Coaching is based on transformative learning theory. It goes beyond traditional models of Performance Coaching (which focuses on achieving specific, measurable goals) and Developmental Coaching (which centres on your learning and skill acquisition) by exploring your inner world of beliefs, assumptions, values, and expectations.
The aim is to create a deeper, more fundamental shift in how you see yourself and the world. When those start to change, life begins to feel lighter, clearer, and you create new possibilities for your life.​


Initial appointment
Our initial appointment is a free, 20-minute conversation. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and explore what you’re currently navigating, so we can see whether my way of support feels right for you.
Feeling comfortable and safe with the person you work with is essential, which is why I offer this initial appointment with no pressure to continue. The purpose is simply to see if we are a good fit to work together.
If it feels right, we can talk through possible next steps, including which coaching package will be most suitable for you, or if you would like to enroll in the walk and talk programme.​​​
All the things discussed during this appointment, as well as in our sessions, will remain confidential. ​
